Sydney – Weather

In Sydney Australia there has been an awful crisis.

The eastern, coastal parts of the city will be pounded by up to 300 mm of rain – more than twice the monthly average in some northern parts of the state – and winds are expected at 60 km/h and peak at 90 km/h on the coast.

The tide is so high that people have been evacuated with houses at risk and the surf club almost in the water.

Wave heights of over 5 m at Bondi Beach, one of the main beaches, have been recorded.

More king tides are forecast which may mean there shall be more land loss.

Rivers have been affected to with at least 3 over flowing.
